General information

  • Monocyte chemoattractant protein-3 (MCP-3) was identified as a physiological substrate of gelatinase A. [1]
  • Monocyte chemotactic proteins (MCPs) are chemokines involved in macrophage recruitment during inflammation and cancer. [2]
  • MCP-3 stimulates the directional migration of T cells as well as monocytes. [3]
  • Chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes and eosinophils, but not neutrophils.
