• leptin receptor ui-button
  in pancreas ui-button
  • In mutant mouse models, leptin deficiency or resistance, respectively, results in severe obesity and the development of a syndrome resembling NIDDM. One of the earliest manifestations in these mutant mice is hyperinsulinemia. [1]
